Connecting Your Bank to Administry

Connect your business bank account to Administry via Plaid for automatic transaction import, or upload bank statements manually. Setup takes about 5 minutes.

Bank Connection Options

Administry connects to your business bank accounts in two ways: via Plaid (automatic, real-time feed) or via manual bank statement upload (PDF or CSV). Most customers use Plaid — it takes about 5 minutes during onboarding and keeps your books updated daily without any manual work.

To connect your bank, navigate to the Accounts section in your Administry dashboard and click Connect Bank Account. You'll be guided through Plaid's secure authentication flow, which uses your bank's own login credentials — Administry never stores your banking password. Once connected, transactions begin flowing within 24–48 hours, and Administry will categorize them against your chart of accounts automatically.
